1. Overview
Growward is a personal progress app for challenges, practice tracking and daily reflection. The core experience is local-first and does not require a Growward account.
2. Core progress data
Challenges, challenge marks, skill practice entries, daily ratings, preferences and related statistics are stored locally on your device during normal use. Growward does not upload this core progress history to our servers as part of ordinary app use.
3. Backup and export
If you use backup or export, Growward creates a file at a location you choose through Android. You control where that file is stored and how it is shared. Purchase credentials and PRO activation secrets are not intended to be included in Growward progress backups.
4. Notifications
If you enable reminders, Growward uses Android notification functionality and locally stored reminder settings to deliver notifications you configure. The app may also use Android system events after a device restart or app update to restore scheduled reminders.
5. PRO purchases and licensing
Where direct Growward PRO purchasing is available, the purchase and license system may process your purchase email, a randomly generated Growward installation identifier, a device public key or its fingerprint, order and transaction identifiers, payment and entitlement status, activation information, app version and locale. Limited technical information such as IP address and request time may also be processed for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting.
Your purchase email is used for payment-related communication and PRO recovery. Growward does not require that email to become a general app account. PRO recovery is designed to use a one-time verification code sent to the purchase email.
6. Payments
For direct purchases offered in Russia, payment processing is planned through YooKassa. Payment providers process payment data under their own terms and privacy policies. Growward does not need to receive or store your full bank card number or card security code. We may receive limited payment information required to verify payment, issue a Lifetime entitlement, handle refunds and provide support.
7. Website
The Growward website does not currently use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. The site stores your chosen interface language in browser local storage so it can remember the language on later visits. Standard server logs may temporarily contain technical information such as IP address, request time, requested page and browser information for security, reliability and troubleshooting.
8. Service providers and data sharing
We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared only when necessary to provide a service you choose, process a payment, deliver a purchase recovery email, operate hosting and infrastructure, comply with law, prevent abuse or protect the service. Providers receive only the information reasonably necessary for their role.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data we process. Network communication with Growward services uses HTTPS. The licensing design uses device-bound cryptographic material and signed entitlement data so a Lifetime purchase can be verified without uploading your normal progress history.
10. Data retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data or uninstall the app, subject to device-level backup mechanisms you may have enabled. Purchase, payment, receipt and license records may be retained for as long as necessary to provide Lifetime access, process refunds, prevent fraud and meet legal or accounting obligations. Temporary recovery codes and short-term security records are retained only for the period needed for their purpose.

11. Children
Growward is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children in ways that require parental consent under applicable law.

We may update this policy when Growward changes. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date.
